GRANITE

The granite we sell comes from various quarries around the state in many different colors and sizes. From brown to red and from 1/4" minus to 1" screened. We at All Star Materials recommend when you are laying granite down for the first time, you set the depth at 2". That will cover 120 square feet per ton. There is no industry standard so you can always use more or less for your liking. Call us for assistance on measurements help.

Crushed Fines

ALL MATERIALS will have crushed fines and there is a scale listed in the name of the material. For example

Minus- 60% to 80%

Screened- 20% to 50%

Sized- 10% to 25%

Natural stone materials can, depending on the various color veins encountered during the mining operation, have variations in color. Materials purchased in the past may not match the material being mined at the present time. All Star Materials always encourages the customer to come in and verify that the material on hand is a sufficient match before they purchase.
